Vote for the great voice of Annie Lennox and the best band Eurythmics
In January 2010, the National Public Radio (NPR), a private US radio station, will launch a year-long exploration of 50 of the great voices. Through archival material, interviews and music, NPR’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered will spend the year delving into the lives and legacies of these voices. Between Oct. 5 and Oct. 16, 2009, YOU should tell them which is the most beautiful, singular voice you have ever heard – by email GreatVoices@npr.org or via a comment on the page below:

The big western German radio station WDR 2 is looking for the best 200 bands ever – until November 5, 2009, YOU are asked to vote (e.g. for Eurythmics) and you can also win meet-and-greets with some of the most famous bands of this time (not Eurythmics). The voting ends at midnight on November 5. The results = the best 200 bands of all time are going to be revealed and played on November 7 and 8 from 4am to 2pm during the big WDR 200 Countdown. Choose the first letter, then your favourite band and if you want to enter the meet-and-greet competition as well.
