Dave Stewart photographic exhibition in Del Mar opened (now with pics + videos)

As announced last month (see news), Dave Stewart’s photographic exhibition at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in Del Mar opened last night with a special appearance by Dave himself and played a short acoustic set on the guitar accompanied by Ann Marie Calhoun on violin!:

“The photographic work of the illustrious musician, producer and innovator, Dave Stewart will be exhibited at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in Del Mar, CA. Dave, a highly acclaimed photographer around the world has captured a who’s who of world renowned recording artists.

The Morrison Hotel Gallery Del Mar will host an extensive exhibition and sale of Dave’s photographs beginning November 7, 2009.

From 6 to 9 pm the gallery at Del Mar will host a special reception for the artist which is free to the public. Dave Stewart’s images are also available in 16×20 and 20×24 sizes in addition to his large prints.”

The photo exhibition is also presenting the photo + story book “The Dave Stewart Songbook” including 2 CDs with Dave Stewart’s most legendary hits written with and for Eurythmics, U2, Tom Petty, Sinead O’Connor, Mick Jagger, Bob Geldof, Bryan Ferry, No Doubt and many more.
