Photos, video and articles of Annie Lennox at the Nobel World Summit in Berlin
Today Annie Lennox was presented with the 2009 “Woman of Peace” award at a summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Berlin for her work raising awareness of HIV/AIDS (see Monday’s news announcement). Annie accepted the award with the words:
“I want to express my profound gratitude and deep humility,” the former Eurythmics singer said. “I honour all the women working around the globe to reduce the effects of this pandemics.This is for them, they truly deserve it.“
