Videos worth watching: Deepak Chopra and Dave Stewart: Everything is music
In 2001 Dave Stewart and Deepak Chopra recorded the album “Grow Younger, Live Longer” named after one of the most successful books by the doctor. The new age and worldbeat music by Stewart and the reciting of old Indian poetry by Chopra are a stimulating, refreshing and balancing combination which is different to all other projects Dave Stewart has been in before.
The video to the song “Everything Is Music” is actually not on film but a beautiful cartoon Flash animation, but let’s hear some words from the creators at the digital entertainment company KERB from Brighton (UK):
“Dave Stewart is a very interesting bloke who is fascinated with emerging technologies.
Back in 2001 he recognised the benefits of using a versitile application like Flash to create music videos and commissioned us to work with him on a piece, which was to be viewed on the Web, in Barnes and Noble stores across the United States and also on mobile phones as part of early 3G tests on the Isle of Man.
The music is a collaboration between Dave and Deepak Chopra, a world reknowned spiritual philosopher, titled “Everything is music”. Despite being in the middle of setting up The Hospital and a load of other projects, he was interested in every facet of the production process, regularly meeting up with us to discuss ideas.”
The album “Grow Younger, Live Longer” including the song “Everything Is Music” and many more is available worldwide (e.g. at Amazon Germany, UK or USA).
