Dave Stewart and Stand Up To Cancer with new video and flip camcorders
Dave Stewart and some of his friends appear in the latest video published by Stand Up To Cancer (website) which is also featuring parts of a beautiful version of Dave Stewart’s song written for the cancer research foundation last year – this time with Joss Stone on vocals! SU2C’s new Up2 PSA, directed by Jesse Dylan, featuring music by Dave Stewart and vocals by Joss Stone. Renée Zellweger, Rob Lowe, Josh Groban, Derek Fisher, Michael Strahan, Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, researchers and survivors come together to demonstrate that the fight against cancer is Up2 all of us.
You might have heard of the new US pocket camcorders called flip with the size of a mobile phone and their catchy advertising phrase “Do You Flip?”. These handy and fun video cameras are endorsed by Dave Stewart, Cindy Gomez, Nadirah X and other artists of Weapons Of Mass Entertainment who are showing their faces and their flip camera on billboards in America, e.g. at subway stations and on busses now. See a few examples spotted recently in some big cities below.
But flip is not only selling their hugely popular video cameras, they are also supporting a number of charities including Stand Up To Cancer with special designs printed on their cameras to raise awareness for the good causes.
