Eurythmics have chances of a Brit Award in 2010 again! – Watch, vote, remember

100111_brits201011 years after Eurythmics recieved their last Brit Award (for “Outstanding Contribution to British Music”), in 2010 they are having a chance to win another Brit!

Only this year the “Brits” (Brit Awards) have replaced the “Best Live Act” category with the special one-off category “Most Memorable Brits Performance” to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The public will be able to vote for their favourite performance from acts including Kylie Minogue, Scissor Sisters, Bros, Kanye West, Robbie Williams dueting with Tom Jones, Bee Gees, Spice Girls, The Who, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Take That, Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud, Michael Jackson and … Eurythmics!

The Brits nominations will be unveiled on January 18, 2010. On January 23, ITV1 will broadcast “The BRITs Hits 30″  – a programme hosted by the former Spice Girl “Mel B” celebrating the most memorable performances that the public can then vote on through ITV.com/brits and GM.TV until February 5!

The winner will then be invited to the BRITs on Tuesday 16th February at Earls Court, London to accept their award. “Most memorable Brits Performance of 30 years”.
