Two of the four concerts by Shakepsears Sister in June in Germany have unfortunately been cancelled: Shakespears Sister are not going to play in Cologne on June 1, 2010 and not in Hamburg on June 2, 2010. Today Annie Lennox was presented with the 2009 "Woman of Peace" award at a summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Berlin for her work raising awareness of HIV/AIDS (see Monday's news announcement).
